What’s covered
The Blind Biz, LLC. warrants that its window fashion products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The installation is also warranted for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product.
The obligation The Blind Biz, LLC is limited to repair or replacement of the window fashion product or components found to be defective. Repairs will be made with like or similar parts.
To obtain warranty service, contact The Blind Biz, LLC. We will work with our licensed fabricator/distributor to promptly repair or replace any defective parts or components without charge. If you require further assistance, contact The Blind Biz, LLC at the address or telephone number listed below. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase, as well as details regarding the nature of the problem, location of the product, etc.
What isn’t covered
This warranty does not cover any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, exposure to the elements, excessive humidity, fading or discoloration over time, or failure to follow our instructions with respect to measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance. This warranty also does not cover any condition or damage resulting from removal of the product or re-installation in the same or another window or application.
This warranty does not apply to conditions caused by normal wear and tear upon the product.
This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities or warranties. In no event shall The Blind Biz, LLC be liable or responsible for INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

The 3-year in-home service guarantee
Because our own in-house installers put up every blind, shade and shutter we sell, we stand behind the installation ourselves. On top of the warranty terms above, The Blind Biz includes a 3-year in-home service guarantee on installations: if something we installed isn’t working the way it should, call us and we’ll come back to your home to take care of it.
That means one phone call, to a local family business that knows your order, instead of a call center or a shipping box. We’ll look at the problem, adjust what can be adjusted, and handle any warranty claim with the manufacturer if a part needs to be replaced.

The brands we carry back their products with lifetime limited warranties. Terms vary by product line, and we’ll explain them before you order.

Hunter Douglas products are backed by the Hunter Douglas lifetime guarantee, including lines such as Duette® honeycomb shades and Silhouette® window shadings.
Norman Window Fashions
Norman backs its shutters and shades, including Woodlore® composite shutters, with its own factory warranty.
