A roman shade is a flat panel of fabric that folds up in neat pleats as you raise it. Lowered, it covers the window like a smooth piece of fabric; raised, it gathers into soft folds at the top. Some styles fold flat and crisp, while others drape in relaxed, looping folds.

Cordless lift and gentle care
Roman shades are often ordered with a cordless lift, so you raise and lower the shade by its bottom edge with no cords hanging down. Continuous loop and motorized options are available on many styles, which helps with wide or heavy shades. We’ll recommend the best control for each window.
