A roller shade is a single panel of fabric that rolls up around a tube at the top of the window. When it’s up, it nearly disappears; when it’s down, it gives a smooth, uncluttered surface. That simplicity is why roller shades work in modern, transitional and traditional rooms alike.
The fabric decides what the shade does. Solar screen fabrics have an open weave that cuts glare and UV while keeping your view outside, which is ideal for family rooms and home offices. Roller shades are easy to care for: dust them with a soft brush or vacuum on low, and spot clean gently with a damp cloth. Check the care label for your fabric before using any cleaner.
